Our managing director Matthias was born in Leipzig and grew up in Eisenach.

Music has been his unwavering passion since childhood.

In 1995, he earned a degree from the "Johann Sebastian Bach" Conservatory in Eisenach (Baritone: Melodic studies after Giuseppe Concone; Solo trombone: Karol Kurpinski’s Cavatina).

Matthias is still musically active today in a band.

As Mozart once said:

"Without music, everything would be nothing."

Matthias completed his law studies, passing both the first, and second state examinations in 2007.

Since 2008, he has been working as an independent entrepreneur.

In 2023, he took over the management of KILIAN GmbH as managing director (Geschäftsführer).

His legal training and entrepreneurial experience give him a clear understanding of the overwhelming bureaucracy of our times. He has a comprehensive understanding that freelancers greatly rely on.

His musical education and activity provide him with an open ear and deep understanding for the concerns of fine artists and musicians.
